WALLABY

WALLABY

Wallabies are often referred to as "mini kangaroos." They are extremely common in the wild in Australia, but can be seen around the United States as pets.
They aren´t too big, they can weigh 27 kilograms.

  • WHAT DO THEY EAT?: Wallabies are herbivores but they can also be omnivores however they need to eat a lot of fiber and proteins. When they are in captivity they eat rabbit feed, bread, fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • HOW LONG DO THEY LIVE?:  in captivity they live between 14 to 16 years.
  • WHERE CAN I HAVE IT?: the place where they are going to live must be like if they were  when they are free.  They live in wooden spaces. Also you need to have places with water because they get dehydrated very often.
